Tom Miller of Miller Industrial Properties Featured in NNBW

In early January, Tom Miller wrote an article for the Northern Nevada Business Weekly that asked the question, “

How do we solve the shortcomings of northern Nevada’s success in 2018?”

“History has shown that when times are good, Nevada is booming. And when times are bad, the state suffers terribly. Right now, we have only good news. Because once again, as broader markets experience steady growth, Nevada is experiencing significant local growth upswings.”

The article covers national growth and its impact on the northern Nevada market; all the local economic markers in 2017; and the impact of all that growth. From the article’s conclusion:

“In a sense, Northern Nevada is like the dog that caught the bus. Now that we have it, what do we do with it? The region has been highly successful in its attempts to diversify and grow our economy. As we enter another year of projected growth, solving the shortcomings of our success will remain our challenge for 2018 and beyond.”
